The New Maths curriculum (2016) expect children to learn more at an early age, by year 4 children must be able to recall multiplication facts up to 12 x 12. Help your child learn their times tables. With 3 different modes – Learning, Practice and Time Challenge – your child can learn their Times Tables in fun and easy activities designed to hone their math skills. This app is for all ages.

First, learn the Times Tables, using multiplication arrays and number grids.

Next, help to sharpen their skills in Practice Mode using simple multiplication sums.

Finally, in the Time Challenge Mode, use mental math skills to find out how many multiplications they can resolve before the timer runs out. As they play, the levels increase to keep challenging and engaging your child.

MAIN FEATURES:

1) Learning Mode: Learn the Times Tables using 4 different types of number grids

2) Practice Mode: 2 different activities with 20 questions randomly generated each time they play. Results displayed at the end of each game give your child a chance to revise their errors.

3) Time Challenge: Play against the clock. There are 5 levels of varying difficulties. Bonus time is awarded for each correctly answered set of sums.

4) Scores: All scores are recorded. The top 5 high scores for Practice and Time Challenge Modes can be viewed. There is an additional progress report to highlight your child’s strengths and weaknesses per activity in each Times Table.

5) This app accommodates for multiple players with each player’s scored saved under their names, with character avatars.

6) The user interface has been designed to avoid distractions when playing and to maximize efficiency and concentration when using the app.

7) This app is suitable for children above 5 years, for children in primary school.

8)This app does not require Internet access and therefore no in-app purchases or adverts are displayed.

This app can be used by children who is learning their times table for the first time, or children who would like to improve their knowledge, as well as older kids who need to do a recap.

Learning through play is extremely effective and useful for your child’s mathematical development. A few minutes a day on this app will improve your child’s number skills and pattern recognition, and encouragement from parents will help their children to improve their math skills.

In addition, teachers or tutors could use this app to assist children who are struggling with their math/number skills – and once the child has gained confidence in the Practice Mode, they can use the Time Challenge Mode and the teacher can view progress.
